Aylin Salahifar

Undergraduate majoring in International Relations, with a specialty in International Security and the Middle East, and minoring in Data Science and Psychology. McDonald Student Research Fellow at the Hoover Institution, conducting research on US-Middle East relations under the mentorship of Dr. Russel Berman, Director of the Hoover Working Group on the Middle East. Currently collaborating on a Hacking for Defense team to address FBI Special Agents’ need for access to AI tools to disrupt the production of child sexual abuse material. Prior research experience includes work at the Deliberative Democracy Lab facilitating global democratic deliberations on policy and tech issues.
