Think of this document as a “Who buys in the government?” phone book.
This directory, first drafted by Steve Blank, is a strategic resource designed to help businesses and individuals navigate the U.S. Department of Defense's (DoD) acquisition process by providing a comprehensive listing of Program Executive Offices (PEOs) and their respective officers and program managers. It outlines who manages and oversees the DoD's procurement of military systems, equipment, and services across various branches like the Army, Navy, and Air Force. This directory serves as a tool for understanding key contacts, procurement responsibilities, and decision-makers within the DoD.
This first version of the directory lists 75 Program Executive Offices and their Program Executive Officers and Program/Project Managers.

Our Vision
Investors: Handing the keys of success to investors and startups alike
The open directory project will paint the necessary picture investors need to identify long term success and marketability of ideas. Knowing what the DoD wants based on past expenditures paired with current solicitations unlocks the key to a successful development and marketing campaign.
Program Executive Officers: Empowering the purse holder
PEOs are invited to own information about their office to compliment a customer experience feedback system including activity for nontraditional investment.
Disruptive Technology Parties: Breaking through unintended obscurity of DoD funding
We believe entrepreneurs, innovators, startups, and small businesses will benefit from a better understanding of DoD funding. Our product will enable businesses to jumpstart their journey to compete and win DoD funding opportunities aligned with their products and services.
